Press Secretary of Patiala District Chess Association, Lohit Sharma, while talking to the media said that the Under-9, 13, 17, 25 Chess Championship was organized by the organization under the leadership of President Dr. Ramesh Dutt Sharma at Playways School, Patiala near Lahori Gate on 12 June 2022. Boys and girls willing to participate in these competitions can bring their own chess board, piece and chess clock and certificates will also be given to all the participants. All participating contestants will be required to bring a birth certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation and the rules of the World Chess Federation will be applicable for this competition.
